Safety policy

Occupational health and safety is a cross-disciplinary area concerned with protecting the safety, health and welfare of people engaged in work or employment. The goal of all occupational health and safety is to foster a safe work environment. At sites all should follow site specific EHS policy. Dumping any type chemicals / solvents in drains/ tanks/sumps is prohibited.

PPE (Personal protective equipment)

Coles ensure safety as one of the main component for the employees. Helmet, goggles, ear muffs, face mask, gloves, apron, shoes should be used where ever required.

Discipline

No smoking, horse playing, fighting, misusing of telephones, internet, disclosing site details at public places, do follow canteen rules & avoid spitting around the sites, usage of drugs & alcohol, maintain personal hygiene. Report to duty in time.

Emergency preparedness

At time of emergency the employees are instructed to immediately gather at the fire/safe assembly point, wait for the head count & get back to the respective places only after getting all clear signal by the security team/ emergency respond team or site incident commander.

Personal hygiene & dress code

Coles work on hygiene maintenance and presentation of oneself strictly. Maintain proper hygiene at workplace. Always come to work in proper uniform and shoes. Follow queue system in cafeteria;
